The author's style was a major factor in my learning. I saw this book years ago, wondered about it and it's cover, but never read it. I hope it won't be his last. This book is designed to appeal to everyone that loves dogs but especially young readers. In her eyes, a nun's life means only deprivation"no freedom, no love, no meat. The vivid description of each scene is amazing as if you can see and you yourself is there at that moment. Patience is def something he is working on and the fact that he is in love with just about every type of safari animal made this a real winner for bedtime. Armentrout's gorgeous imagination. The narrator of the book (especially compared to Cocaine Nights and Super Cannes) is not particularly engaging or interesting.
